Tsitsikamma Spring Water

OUR STORY

CRAFTED FROM NATURE. BOTTLED WITH PURPOSE

WHERE CLEAR WATER HAS ALWAYS BEEN SACRED

Long before it was ever bottled, this land was cherished by the Khoisan people, who named it “Sietsiekamma” – “the place of clear water.” For centuries, its pristine springs have filtered through ancient quartzite rock, protected by forest, time and tradition.
That same purity flows today. We’ve simply found a way to bottle it – without disturbing what makes it sacred.

A Vision Sparked by Purity

In 1997, founder Judy Woodgate discovered a natural spring on her farm in the heart of the Tsitsikamma. The water was unlike anything she had ever tasted – naturally sweet, perfectly balanced, and untouched by human interference. Inspired by its purity, she began a small-scale bottling operation, determined to share this rare gift from nature with others.

Growth with Integrity

Tsitsikamma Spring Water has blossomed into a fully integrated operation – bottling both still and sparkling water, while manufacturing our own preforms and bottles directly on-site.

Why? Because taking responsibility for every step of the process allows us to protect what matters most:

Nature is Our Partner - Not a Resource

Our bottling facility is located near the source, deep within a protected nature reserve.
No cities. No industry. No pollution. Just unspoiled nature.

As the spring water journeys through ancient layers of rock, it naturally absorbs trace minerals that give it a soft, subtly sweet taste.
We gently filter and UV-treat it for safety – without ever altering its natural purity or balance.
